This week we will be doing family history. I LOVE family history. On our last youth temple trip I was able to prepare about 20 of my family's names to be baptized and confirmed members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. One of those names was my dear, sweet Grandpa Oien. I was surprised and touched when Zack got up in Sacrament meeting and spoke of his experience in the temple when he said he got to do a special name and he felt more of a connection to him. I know that we are doing the work of the Lord. We are so blessed to be able to do this work and have this spiritual connection to our family members who have passed. It is an amazing feeling to be touched by the spirit! I hope that everyone can make it this Wednesday to get started on preparing your family history. Please bring a family pedigree chart.
